This team works globally to create and adopt standards that are foundational to a secure, interoperable and scalable Identity and Access Management eco-system.

We are looking for an Identity Standards Architect to cover critical areas of innovation in both external standards bodies and in our product. You will have the opportunity to be part of an experienced and accomplished team, and to see your standards work implemented in products that impact the entire world. In this role, you will work with our engineering teams and with external engineers from companies all over the world to create and adopt identity specifications that meet our guiding principles for technology and that forward secure and innovative identity practices.

Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Other RequirementsAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional or Preferred QualificationsBachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.8+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (eg, sample documentation, product demos).Technical knowledge of one of the following specification families or similar: IETF OAuth, OIDF OpenID Connect/OpenID4VC, W3C Verifiable Credentials, W3C WebAuthn/FIDO2, SAML, OIDF Shared Signals, IETF SCIM.Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S.

is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
