Carrier RepresentativeSalford - hybrid after 6 months£25,000 - £28,000 per annumWe are currently recruiting for a Carrier Representative to join one of the largest logistics companies globally. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lively and friendly team with the opportunity to develop your career within logistics.This role is suited to someone with 6-12 months experience within a logistics/transport business, or if you're eager to learn and want to start a career in logistics. You'll be based out of the office in Salford Quays, once you've passed probation there is an opportunity for hybrid working. What you'll be doing -

• Maintain and grow relationships with carrier accounts
• Research new carriers in the marketplace, generate leads, and build new carrier relationships
• Provide updates to customers and building ongoing relationships
• Understand market trends and seasonality

What we're looking for -

• Previous experience in a logistics/transport role is preferred but not essential
• Additional European language is preferred but not essential
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build relationships and work well with others

Hours of work -

• Full time, Monday to Friday office hours

Salary -

• £25,000 - £28,000 per annum
• Salary is dependant on experience
