DutiesProvides expert technical leadership, direction, and guidance in the development and delivery of identity and access management (IAM) services.Functions as a recognized authority in identity, credential, and access management services, and maintains thorough knowledge of current and emerging technology in IAM and cloud-based technologies.

Participates in conducting assessments, reviews, and audits of planned and installed computer infrastructure, operating, and security systems to identify vulnerabilities, risks, and protection needs.Serves as a subject matter expert and resource manager for projects involving delivery of IAM services.Leads the development of short and long-range project implementation planning documents, and develops and presents technical briefings for senior management and supported organizations.

Qualifications To qualify for an IT Specialist (ENTARCH) GS-2210-14, you must have IT-related experience as described below. IT-related experience demonstrated by paid or unpaid experience obtained in either the private or public sector, and/or completion of specific, intensive training that demonstrates that I possess all of the following four competencies: 1. Attention to Detail - is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail; 2.

Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services; 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately; 4. Problem Solving - identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.

AND I qualify for this position at the GS-14 level because I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector by performing the following duties: Develops, manages, and improves architecture and design of the enterprise infrastructure required for secure authentication and authorization of IT resources; and automated management of user identities and related permissions.Manages the architectural design & implementation of applications and enterprise platforms for Identity Access Management (IAM) services that meet security and compliance policies and standards.Collaborates with stakeholders across the enterprise to modernize/enhance IAM services; ANDProvides IAM architectural leadership, guidance, and support for cloud-based systems and technologies.
