If this sounds like a company you want to work for then your new role will see you take the helm of an engineering department based in Fareham. As the Head of Engineering, you'll be tasked with steering a talented team of engineers covering electrical, electronics, embedded software, mechanical, production, technicians, etc towards groundbreaking achievements.
You'll have no more than 6-direct reports with a multi-disciplinary team of 30-engineers (100+ headcount on-site total) who have a good team culture that values innovation, excellence, and personal growth. Meaning you'll be able to get on with the people and project management side of the job. Some change management will still be required.
In this pivotal role, you'll utilise your previous experience as specialist in an area of engineering covering either embedded software, electronics or electro-mechanical design coupled with at least 5-years management experience to drive the strategic direction of the engineering efforts moving forward.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Base salary for this position is £80,000 - £85,000, bonus is typically 5-10%, Performance related Pre-IPO Equity Options, 25 days holiday (increasing over-time), life assurance, hybrid working, on-site EV charging for free, full-sick pay (should the worst happen), and more.
