The team synthesizes and interprets vast amounts of social content to provide actionable insights that tie back to a client's business goals. This is a leadership role within Strategy & Insights Services, reporting to the Global Director of Strategy & Insights. While this role carries management responsibilities for Research Analysts and Consultants based in North America, Strategy & Insights is a global department and the role also requires close collaboration across international teams and cross-functional departments.

The Manager, Strategy & Insights will:Directly manage and coach a team of Research Consultants & Analysts, taking an active role in resourcing, hiring, training and nurturing talent on the team.Identifying creative solutions to problems and navigating ambiguity in a growth environmentOversee the development, execution and delivery of custom research projects, ensuring high quality deliverables are on time and on target.Help to develop best practices and standards for client management, research protocols, solutions, deliverables and inter-team collaboration/processes.

Cross-functionally partner with members of the leadership team on commercial strategies, packages, marketing, etc.Collaborate closely with Consultants and Analysts on client deliverables and client relationships, supporting planning sessions, mid-point check-ins, reviews and deliveries.Represent the team in client-facing meetings and present to internal and external audiences, as needed.

Travel when required to in-person consultations, including some travel outside of standard office hours (<20%).Stay up to date on the full range of Brandwatch products and have a solid understanding of API applications and advanced research methods.Stay up to date on industry trends and broader research trends to ensure innovation and evolution of approaches and deliverables.

Role Requirements:Commercial research experience, including exposure to international consumer insights and social media research.2+ years of people management experience and strong international leadership skills.Experience with Boolean searches and unstructured data.

Technical aptitude for learning new software and conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses.Strong business writing and communication skills.Strong level of competency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables & charting), Word and PowerPoint.

Experience of working in an agency-style environment a plusLanguage skills a plus (French, German, Spanish, other)Success Measures:A growing team of Consultants & Analysts who are equally challenged and supported.On time insights deliverables that generate positive feedback and strengthen client retention.Development of thought leadership and a point of view for social research methodologies and best practices.

Effective collaboration across Brandwatch teams.Partnership in cultivating a collaborative, creative culture.Successfully represent Brandwatch externally, including networking and presentation events where applicable.
